In March, we predicted this movie being one of the best in 2017. In this film, starring a whole crowd of cool actors, and directed his equally cool dude, the Oscar-winning Martin McDonagh (“to Lie low in Bruges,” “Seven psychopaths”). The world premiere of this film took place in the days, but to Russia he will get until next year. And this has a very long title, “Three of a Billboard on the border of Ebbing, Missouri” (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri).
Synopsis:
A few months after the murder of his daughter Mildred Hayes criminals never found. Desperate woman decided to take a bold step of renting at the entrance of the city three of a Billboard with a message to the authoritative chief of police William Willoughby. When the situation becomes involved and another Deputy Sheriff, infantile Mama’s boy with a penchant for violence, officer Dixon, the struggle between Mildred and city authorities will only get worse.
The McDormand (“Fargo”), woody Harrelson (“True detective”, “Welcome to Zombieland”), Sam Rockwell (“the Green mile”, “Moon 2112”), Abbie Cornish (“limitless”), John Hawkes (“Identity”, “the Perfect storm”), Caleb Landry Jones (“antivirus”) and Peter Dinklage (“Game of thrones”) – that’s a dozen more specific reasons which this movie cannot be skipped.
Well, the icing on the cake: we have duplicated the trailer; now to experience the full gusto of the dialogues are those who are neither belmesa not understand anything in English. However, the original is still bigger and juicier, but it is what we have.
The Russian premiere is scheduled for February 1, 2018.
