A former Opera singer 58-year-old mark Glanville (Mark Glanvill) bought Italian XVII century near the medieval town of Oria and together with his wife and three children turned it into a cozy home. Mansion with seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, three kitchens, three living rooms and even a ballroom surrounded by groves of orange, lemon, olive and Fig trees, ancient walled garden, a chapel and pool, lined with mosaics.
And all this Italian dream can become the property of anyone who buys a ticket for two pounds sterling and will answer the question.
The family decided to sell the estate after several happy years, but the year has not received acceptable offers to purchase. Glenville agreed to organize the drawing of the mansion in the lottery.
Mark Glanville and his now ex-wife, Julia Melinek (Julia Melinek) bought the estate Masseria Terra di Marina in 2010.
The couple, in the past, Opera singers, restored the mansion, spent a family vacation, arranged weddings, and holidays. Their daughter Francesca even baptized in the adjacent Church.
In 2012, the couple separated and in early 2017 Glenville put the property up for sale.
However, despite the excellent condition of the house and a lot of hits on the website the sale of real estate, a former Opera singer could not find a buyer. So he agreed to the proposal of the son of the estate to play the lottery.
Just sold 575 thousand tickets for the price of two pounds sterling — the winner will receive the keys from the estate. All legal costs will also be paid.
“Our family lived some years in the Italian dream. Now we want to allow more people to gain the same invaluable experience. We didn’t want to just transfer the property to some old millionaire. Magnificent home in Sunny Italy we wanted to give someone a chance, for example, to start a business”.
