European landscapes of StrUser.
Theatre buildings, museums, aristocratic buildings, homes, bridges, squares, streets, paved, decorated with old lampposts, small cafes, carts pulled by horses, ladies and gentlemen, dressed in the latest fashion – all this and much more is so effortless that I really want to see them with your eyes. After all, the Russian artist Vladimir StrUser managed to convey not only the beauty of urban landscapes, but also the atmosphere which they breathe.
Vladimir was born and raised in the Soviet Union. In 1979 he graduated from the Academy of Arts in Leningrad. At the time his work was different from the norms and limits established by the Ministry of culture of the USSR, therefore, all the works were confiscated and sent into the stove, the Studio was closed, and the artist arrested in returning to camp. And only in the nineties during the time of perestroika he was released. After his release, Strother along with his wife, leaving home, going to America, where, having the opportunity to Express themselves, continued to paint, exhibiting…
