The world faces massive environmental disaster

The ecologist warned of the unexpected danger.

If in the next few decades all countries will go to renewable energy, the Earth threatened disastrous consequences.

This was stated by the expert of the National ecological centre of Ukraine Iryna Stavchuk.

“In order to keep global warming within a framework that will lead to catastrophic consequences, all countries of the world have until 2050 to switch to renewable energy and away from fossil fuels. This is serious. Because the farther postponed these measures, the less chance that our planet will be able to prevent a catastrophe. If the United States will not implement any policy to reduce greenhouse emissions, the world will be very difficult to compensate for due to the actions of other countries,” said Savchuk.
