The forecast for economic growth in the country will remain moderate.
The world Bank worsened the forecast of inflation in Ukraine in 2017 up to 10%, however, retained the GDP growth forecast for this year to 2%. This was reported by economist of the world Bank in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Anastasia Golovach.
“Raising the minimum wage forced us to worsen the Outlook for inflation this year from 8.5% to 10%”, – said Golovach during the presentation of a new economic survey and macroeconomic forecast for Ukraine.
She stressed that the country needs to continue reforms in financial and economic sphere in order to minimize the influence of the blockade of Donbass.
According to holovach, it is necessary to improve the business climate and improve investor confidence to attract resources.
The forecast for economic growth in Ukraine will remain moderate -2%.
