The politician’s wife claims that at which the authorities plan it wants to send to Tbilisi.
The wife of the leader of the “Movement of new forces”, Mikheil Saakashvili, Sandra Roelofs is convinced that the government of Georgia and Ukraine preparing him for extradition to Tbilisi, and for the sake of working together.
This opinion was expressed on air of TV company “Rustavi 2” when switching from Kiev.
“I’m not hoping for fair Ukrainian court, which must rule on the measure of restraint to my husband. Most likely, the decision of the court has dictated the Ukrainian authorities and it will leave in pre-trial detention. You may make a decision on house arrest, but all this is done in order to gain time and wait for a verdict according to Mikheil Georgian court, and only then, the plan, his wish to be extradited from Kiev to Tbilisi,” – said Sandra Roelofs.
According to her, the current government of Ukraine and Georgia, which agreed on a plan to extradite Mikheil Saakashvili, are “primitive, rude, without regard for the international community”.
In Georgia, the court expedited the case is about abuse of power by Mikheil Saakashvili as President of Georgia. In particular, the decree of the President on early pardons four policemen convicted of killing an employee of “Bank of Georgia” Sandro Girgvliani.
She believes that a consistent scenario of the extradition of Mr. Saakashvili won’t work, and the events in Kiev and Tbilisi “will develop in a different direction.”
