The United States and Ukraine will work for a peaceful solution to the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
This was stated by the President of the United States Donald trump during a meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the White House.
“The President met with the Minister of foreign Affairs, Reaffirming support for Ukraine from the United States and his desire to work with our Ukrainian partners towards a peaceful settlement of the conflict”, – stated in the message.
Washington also spoke about the results of the meeting the head of the Ukrainian foreign Minister and Vice-President of the United States Michael Pence, which occurred earlier.
According to representatives of the American administration, Biden assured the Ukrainian foreign Minister that the United States “strongly supports Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
