The volunteer said, what’s missing from the anti-terrorist operation forces for effective offensive

ATO forces do not have enough equipment for a large-scale offensive.

Army of Ukraine is not ready to conduct large-scale offensive action. All because the army has no necessary quantity and quality of vehicles – trucks and SUVs.

This opinion in comments to the edition of “Apostrophe” was expressed by the famous Vitaly Deynega volunteer.

“With such wheeled vehicles the army is not able to perform the tasks associated with the movement. That is, in this case, the army is not ready neither to advance nor retreat, so many wheeled vehicles can be conducted only trench warfare,” – says the volunteer.

Deynega noted that filling the army with new samples of weapons is hampered by the lack of competition on the arms market.

We need to liberalize the market, then we won’t have machines “Kid,” ambulances “Bogdan” and boats from “Lenin’s forge” (all manufacturers associated with companies of Petro Poroshenko), – the volunteer noted.

Deynega also expressed confidence that in the case when the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will remove commercial interests and try to restore order in this sphere, then the army appears and cheap UAVs, thermal imagers.

In addition, the volunteer complained that during the fighting in the Donbas, the Ministry of defence receives only 2.6% of the GDP of 5% assigned to the defense.

“These interests include the interior Ministry, SBU, border guards and even the prison service. If the SBU is still there warring units, what others are doing here – I don’t know,” said the volunteer.
