Enterprises of Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation) in January-July 2017 completed construction works in the amount of 44.2 billion UAH, that is by 24.2% more than the same period in 2016.
According to the State statistics service (gosstat).
In July 2017 compared to July 2016, the volume of construction grew by 17.3% and compared to June 2017 – has decreased by 10%. In January-July 2017 for the construction of buildings has been spent 23 billion to 216.9 million UAH, of which 11 billion 914,7 million UAH – in the homes, 11 billion 302,2 million UAH – for non-residential.
Construction volumes of engineering structures amounted to 20 billion 958,7 million. New construction, reconstruction and technical re-equipment amounted to 77.8% of the total volume of construction works, capital and current repairs, or 12.3% and 9.9%, respectively.
The largest volumes of construction in January-July was recorded in Kiev (11 billion 342,2 million, which is 28.8% more than the same period in 2016) and Kharkiv region (4 billion 613,8 million UAH, which is by 30.7% more than in the same period of 2016).
