The Vatican Ambassador promised to allocate 200 thousand euros in cash assistance.

The Vatican Ambassador, Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Claudio Gugerotti visited the plant and Kramatorsk, where he announced a new allocation of financial assistance to the affected regions.

“The Vatican Ambassador arrived at the front line to personally thank the residents of Donbass support and solidarity, and send a blessing from Pope Francis,” he wrote.

According to Zhebrivsky, for the needs of the residents of the Town of Fund shares “Dad” will be allocated 200 000 euros.

“As you remember, last year Pope Francis announced a campaign whose purpose was to raise funds to help the citizens of Ukraine who suffered from Russian aggression or become internally displaced people. Throughout Europe were collected then 16 million euros. Pope Francis personally gave 5 million euros to support the Ukrainians,” – said zhebrivskyi.
