The use of these products causes thirst

Italian nutritionists have made a list of foods that cause intense thirst.

Experts recommend to exclude the products from your summer diet.

So, the fifth place goes to sweet, fizzy drinks. Fizzy drinks and fruit juices, and lemon juice with the sugar sends the brain the signal that you are thirsty. That is why they are not suitable for quenching thirst, and Vice versa.

After sweet drinks are flavor enhancers. They are part of curry sauces, soups and convenience foods like noodles. Although the flavors improve the taste of dishes, they contain a lot of unhealthy sodium.

Excessive flavor enhancers and bouillon cubes can cause dehydration and severe thirst.

In third place is the caffeine. Coffee and other caffeinated drinks are diuretics. This means that they can cause dehydration. The norm is 2 cups of coffee or 200 mg of caffeine a day. But if you drink enough water, nutritionists suggest that you can give up coffee.

Second place went to soy sauce. Even in small doses, it can cause dehydration. This product can upset the balance of electrolytes, resulting in excessive amount of sodium in the blood.

In the summer, nutritionists recommend to refuse from salty foods. The salt enters into the composition of most store-bought products, since it is a preservative. But while eating salty foods, the body signals the brain that you are thirsty. This signal occurs because the salt removes from the cells the water. At the time, refrain from eating pickles, canned food, fast food and sauces.
