The updated Skoda Superb will get a spotlight Matrix LED with multiple individually controlled segments.
Skoda has released another teaser for the new Superb, which showed the led lighting. For the first time in its history the Czech manufacturer will be included in the list of available options matrix headlights and taillights with dynamic turn signals. Superb presentation will take place during the world hockey Championship in Slovakia.
Relying on data from a camera mounted on the windshield, the configuration of the light beam in such headlamps is changed automatically depending on oncoming traffic and lighting conditions. In the Superb will be led and fog lights.
LED rear lights will get a dynamic turn signals: illuminated strip will move from inner part to outer. When unlocking or locking the car front and rear lights will flash on and off in a certain sequence, creating a kind of “welcome animation”.
According to preliminary information, the Skoda Superb will also be a new media complex with enhanced functionality and the ability to update “over the air”. In the range of power plants for the first time a hybrid variant on the basis of the turbo engine 1.4 TSI like Volkswagen Passat GTE.
