According to Volcker, the Ukrainian issue for US is of the highest priority.
The US is not going to enter into a separate agreement with Russia concerning the decision of the military conflict in the Donbass without Ukraine’s participation and the EU.
This was stated by the special representative of the United States in Ukraine with Kurt Volker.
“This absolutely will not happen. There is no such thing, and there will be no separate deals over the heads of the Ukrainians or behind the Europeans,” he said.
According to the representative of the United States, on the eve of a meeting in Minsk with the head of the Kremlin Vladislav Surkov, who is the curator of the Pro-Russian terrorists of “DNR/LNR”, he was in close contact on the Ukrainian question with the representatives of Germany and France.
“The US made clear that we fully support the peace process in the “channel format”. We do not intend to be a part of it or lead it,” explained Walker.
