Kazakhstan is working to create a system of national “cybersite”.
The United Nations should take measures to close down terrorist organizations access to spread their criminal ideas on the Internet.
This was stated by the foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov at the UN General Assembly.
“Because there are a large number of approaches to control the Internet, the UN should take concrete steps to prevent the use of Networks for recruiting, distribution of terrorist ideology and radicalization of the population, especially young people,” said Abdrakhmanov.
He added that his country is working on the establishment of the system of national “cybersite”.
Abdrakhmanov also noted the importance of overlapping of channels of financing of terrorists.
“Kazakhstan stands for wide implementation of multilateral mechanisms and instruments for dealing with foreign terrorists and to close the channels of financial support of their actions by the illegal drug trade, natural resources and cultural objects”, – said the head of the foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.
