You need to double real GDP and increase the employment of able-bodied population, up to 70%
The UN announced guidance for sustainable growth of the economy of Ukraine. For achieving sustainable growth of Ukraine’s economy should double the GDP and increase employment.
This is stated in the national report, UN information, prepared by the Ministry of economic development and trade.
Over the next 15 years required to double real GDP and to increase employment of the working population to 70 percent.
“Some recovery in economic activity, which was observed in 2016 is negligible. Ukraine needs systemic institutional and deeper structural reforms, the launch of a massive technological change. A priority in economic policy, which must obey all the rest, is provision for the next 15 years real gross domestic product growth by at least half while increasing the level of employment of the working age population to 70 percent,” the report notes.

In this case, the factors of achieving this goal should be the creation of high-tech competitive industries, increase in domestic demand through income and investment, support exports with high added value and the implementation of infrastructure projects, as well as the rapid increase in productivity of agriculture.
