Uncleared Mercedes man has imported to Ukraine according to the passport of the citizen of Lithuania.
The owner of the car “Mercedes-Benz”, which was imported into the territory of Ukraine with the evasion of customs duties, was fined 3,383 million. About it reports a press-service of the State fiscal service, reports, Francia.info with reference to Economic truth.
It is noted that when crossing the border, the man presented the passport of the citizen of Lithuania, which gave him the right, as a non-resident to import a car which was registered in a foreign country without payment of customs payments in the mode of “temporary import” for a period of up to 1 year.
“However, subsequently, the customs officers ascertained that the same person has nationality and permanent residence in Ukraine, that is, he is a resident of Ukraine. And it already absolutely other requirements”, – is spoken in the message.
According to the decree of Chernihiv customs of the SFS citizen brought to administrative responsibility and must pay a fine in the amount of 3,383 million.
“The position of customs was also supported by the courts of first and appeal instance”, – informs the SFS.
Earlier it was reported that almost 236,6 of thousands of cars with foreign registration on the territory of Ukraine illegally.
