Klimkin: Russia’s Proposal for peacekeepers – the real way to freeze the situation in the Donbass.

Russia’s proposal to deploy UN peacekeepers along the line of differentiation on Donbass is the manipulation and contains elements of political schizophrenia, said the Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin in an interview to UKRINFORM.

“I see this as a part of a kind of political schizophrenia. Moscow supposedly declared the desire to help the OSCE. But how? Placing peacekeepers along the line of demarcation! This, on the contrary, will only complicate the work of the SMM”, – he explained.

The Minister also added that it is impossible to have two missions with different territorial mandate.

“It’s so crazy that at the same time funny and sad,” he said.

Klimkin also said that the placement of peacekeepers only along the demarcation line in the ATO zone is “the real way to freeze the situation that is.”

“Here have the desire of Russia to legalize its colony, a protectorate in the occupied part of Donbass”, – summed the Minister.
