The foreign Ministry of Ukraine said that the statement of the President of Czech Republic Milos Zeman on the need of lifting the sanctions against Russia and the possibility of financial compensation to Ukraine for Crimea annexed “went beyond political framework”.
In response to the controversial words of the Czech leader Secretary of the Czech Republic in Ukraine David Masek said that it is his personal point of view.
“Trying to offer not only appeasement but also legitimize the annexation of Crimea by the “sales” part of our territory is absolutely unacceptable to modern Europe. Hard to believe what we hear from the President of a country that suffered so much from the Munich agreement,” commented Zeman in the foreign Ministry.
