Grain terminals will be built in the Nile Delta.
Ukrainian company “NIBULON” plans to invest $ 2 billion in the construction of grain terminals in the Nile Delta in Egypt, as well as barges for operation in the region.
Plan to build granaries at the ports of Damietta and Alexandria.
Also refers to the construction of 20 self-propelled vessels for transportation of grain by capacity of 2 thousand tons each.
The first phase of the project implementation should start in the next two years, said Minister of supply of Egypt, quoted by Reuters.
Earlier it was reported that “NIBULON” plans to build seagoing vessels with a length of 140 meters. According to the head of the company Alexey Vadatursky, NIBULON will try to meet the needs of one of the key buyers of grain from Ukraine – Egypt.
On may 23, the company put into operation a new Elevator complex for transshipment of grain and oilseeds in the composition of the transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv.
