The Ukrainian Champions of the Olympic games-2018 will receive on 125 thousand dollars in prize money

The Ministry of sports of Ukraine at a press conference in Kyiv reported on state support for winners of the Olympic games 2018 in Pyeongchang.

A few months before the start of the winter Olympics Ukraine won 15 of the license (11 – biathlon 4 – figure skating). On a trip to Pyeongchang claim 57 Ukrainian athletes.

Funding for special Olympic program for candidates on a trip to South Korea, the government allocated of 54.64 million.

Winners of a gold medal of the Olympic games-2018 will receive 125 thousand dollars in prize money. Silver medalists expected 80 thousand in U.S. currency, and bronze – 55.

The medal hopes of the Ministry of sports of Ukraine before the forthcoming Olympic games are connected with biathlon and freestyle, where good chance to compete for a prize at Alexander Abramenko.

Winter Olympic games-2018 will be held from 9 to 25 February in Pyeongchang (South Korea). More than 2,500 athletes from approximately 90 countries will compete for 98 sets of medals in 7 sports.
