The transit of Russian gas through Ukraine has reached a seven-year high

The Ukrainian gas transportation system reached a record high over the past 7 years.

The transit of Russian natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transportation system reached a record over the past 7 years – 80.8 billion cu. m. On Wednesday, November 16, reported the press service of the state of the company-operator GTS Ukrtransgas.

“As of 13 November 2017, the operator of the Ukrainian gas transport system implemented a transit to European countries a record for the last 7 years 80.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2017”, – noted in the company.

It is also reported that the total transit for the whole of last year amounted to 82.2 billion cubic meters , and for the same period of 2016 – 68,8 billion cubic meters.
