The head of the Odessa police announced three versions of a tragic fire in the children’s camp “Victoria”.
After five days from the moment of a fire in the Victoria camp, killing three children, the investigation identified three versions of what happened.
Officially, the police considers the version about an arson, violation of fire safety rules and fire due to the use of electrical appliances, said the head of the Odessa police Dmitry Golovin at a joint briefing with the Prosecutor of the region Oleg Juchenko.
According to him, on the fire place still works investigative team, including experts from Kiev.
Now experts check the veracity of the information that rescuers were called forty minutes after the start of ignition.
However, at the moment the investigation of the Prosecutor’s office has registered criminal proceedings under article negligence that led to serious consequences. In the relevant departments of the city Council is already seized documents relating to Victoria.
Earlier, the prosecutors and police carried out searches at the enterprises, which carried out the construction and reconstruction of buildings of the children’s camp Victoria.
We will remind that on the night of September 16 a fire broke out in the camp of Victoria. The fire completely destroyed a two-storey wooden house, which at the time of the fire were 42 children.
After extinguishing the fire, rescuers found the charred remains of two children. Later reported that on the ashes found the remains of the third deceased girl.
