German rider Marcel Kittel (“Quick-Step Floors”) became the winner of the second stage of the Tour de France with a finish in Liege (Belgium).
The breakaway of the day consisted of four people, due to blockage in the main group was eliminated only for 1.2 km to go. Johan, Offredo (“Wanty — Groupe Gober”) and Taylor phinney (“Cannondale-Drapac”) tried to outsmart the sprint team, but still are unable to cope with the pressure of the main group.
Finishing the alignment timely attack took a major favorite among sprinters Marcel Kittel. The Germans had developed the power that is unavailable to major rivals. This victory was for Kittel tenth on stages of the Tour de France.

Tomorrow the Tour de France to 2017 is the first medium-mountain stage with the finish in the ascent of the third category. After travelling through Germany and Belgium the legendary stage race will return to their historical homeland.
