Completed the 13th stage of the 104th version of the legendary French race.
Short (just over 100 miles) stage was a three coming one after the other mountains of the first category with steep slopes and flat finishing cut.
In the day’s break, the main defendants were two of the Spaniard Alberto Contador and Mikel Landa. A few kilometers to the top of the final mountain stage, the Duo overtook the mountain king race Warren Barge and the captain of the “Movistar” Nair Quintana.
Star Quartet peacefully existed until the end of the stage. 400 meters to go, Contador attacked, but his leap was not so powerful to throw off the wheel Barge, which perfectly fit the sophisticated turn and headed towards victory.
