The three leaders of the smartphone market will be a serious rearrangement

Experts Canalys said that in the last quarter, Apple has shipped only 3 million units more, and research company IDC called a smaller difference of 2.5 million vehicles. According to the latter, Huawei has shipped 38.5 million smartphones, or 11.3% of the General market and Apple’s contribution is estimated at 41 million iPhones, or 12%.

China remains one of the most important markets for Huawei. In the last quarter the company delivered in the country of 23.5 million smartphones, improving his result a year ago by 22.6%. At the same time Apple, by contrast, is losing ground in China, the iPhone shipments fell 7.6%, to 8 million units. Thus, in China, Huawei has already significantly ahead of American rival shares of the vendors here make up 21% and 7.1%, respectively.

Huawei has achieved success in other parts of the world – at the end of the first half of 2017, shipments to Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea grew by more than 45%, and Europe sales increased by 18%. Industry observers predict that in the background of seasonal increase of demand, Huawei will supply more than 40 million smartphones in the third quarter of 2017.

As for Apple, its shipment of smartphones is likely to decline slightly compared to the previous quarter, as many consumers will postpone the purchase of iPhone in the final quarter of 2017, when in sale the new generation of “Apple” devices. Thus, Huawei has a real chance to beat Apple and get closer to market leader Samsung.
