In the exhibition were shown pictures of Klaus Schunemann, telling about everyday life and about the history of the restoration of the enterprise, which was held in 1984-2004
Radio “Grimeton”
It is located near the Swedish city of Varberg, is a monument of engineering art of the early wireless transatlantic communication. Radio built in 1922-1924.
The station was built by American engineer of Swedish origin Ernst Alexanderson in 1924 for communications with the US station “Radio Central” on long island. As the radiating element wires are used, suspended by six steel towers, masts with a height of 127 m, separated from each other at 380 m and holding the crossbar of the scale 46 m.
At the time of construction it was the highest buildings in Sweden. Length of aerial fabric is 2.2 km away.
