According to state statistics, the average salary in Ukraine continues to grow
The average salary in Ukraine continues to grow. This is the conclusion we arrive at if we look at recent data of the state statistics service of Ukraine. There has published updated information on the average wage of full-time employees in Ukraine by regions and by kinds of economic activities.
So, according to them, the average salary in Ukraine in February 2019, the year in comparison with January 2019, the year increased by 206 hryvnia – UAH 9429.
Expected was that the highest average salary was traditionally recorded in Kyiv – UAH 14513, written on the website of the state statistics. The lowest recorded in the Chernivtsi region – 7186 hryvnia.
The highest wages are observed in financial and insurance activities – 18197 hryvnia. With the second place in terms of highest average salary is activities in the field of information and telecommunications – 16447 hryvnia.
But the least-paid activities in the field of temporary accommodation and catering arrangements – where workers earn an average of 5999 USD.
However, experts say that the SSS believes only 10-20% of Ukraine’s businesses – usually those where the largest number of Ukrainians. At the same time, the SSS does not account for private enterprises and Topy in which the average number of employees is few people.
