The US is closely watching the situation in Ukraine, said Neuert.
The official representative of US state Department Heather Noart did not rule out the possibility of supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine.
According to her, in the United States “very closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine.”
“We don’t deliver weapons (to Ukraine – ed.) but we do not exclude anything. More than anything you can say about it,” said Neuert.
Earlier it was reported that a company from Texas AirTronic USA, getting a license, supplies to Ukraine grenade launchers from 2016.
On 16 November the U.S. Senate voted to approve the defense budget for 2018, which, in particular, involves the allocation of $ 350 million for defense of Ukraine.
The decision on granting Ukraine lethal weapons has not yet been taken by the administration of President Donald trump, although this idea is fully supported by both houses of Parliament.
