The SBU explained, as will prohibit the entry of Russian artists in Ukraine

The Agency does not plan to create the Commission for check of artists of Russia.

The security service of Ukraine at the moment will not create a special Commission to check and decision on the prohibition or permission for the entry to Ukraine of Russian artists.This was at the briefing said on October 7 the head of the SBU Basil Gritsak.

“I think that the special Commission is what we create will not. Yes, indeed, there is a law that provides for an appeal to the SBU 30 days prior to the arrival of a group with providing personal information about those who will visit Ukraine. We for 10 days to give their recommendations – to allow or deny them entry,” said Hrytsak.

Answering the question of what criteria will be checked by Russian artists, Hrytsak said: “(whether these persons – ed.) threat to national security”.

Earlier it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada on 5 October amended the law “On touring activities in Ukraine” (regarding peculiarities of organization and conduct touring activities in Ukraine with the participation of the citizens of the aggressor country).

According to the amendments introduced a ban on touring activities that will promote or promote the state-an aggressor. In addition, concert organizers ordered in advance to coordinate with the SBU tours of Russian artists.
