The Russians will be able to get a visa to North Korea

North Korea has simplified visa for Russians

North Korea reduced the visa processing time for a visa for Russians to three to five days. About it on a press-conferences in Moscow has told the adviser of the Embassy of Korea in Russia Kim sen Hun.

According to him, previously, the processing period for applications to enable the entry was near the Crescent moon.

Kim Hun sen added that the Western media have linked the image of the DPRK only with poverty and underdevelopment, but the international tourism is able to change these perceptions of foreign visitors. He noted that because of the trips to his country travellers can lay down their own opinion about life in North Korea. In addition, they see how people have rallied in the face of unprecedented sanctions from the West, the diplomat said.

The Russians can get a visa to North Korea in the country’s Embassy in Moscow and at the consulates in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. Depending on the place of filing the cost varies from 10 to 60 dollars. For visa tourists require a passport, proof of employment, a completed application form and set of photos.

The DPRK basically gives permission to enter for those who travel in organized groups. Independent visit to the country is almost impossible.
