The citizens of Russia began to take microloans to buy gifts and pay for entertainment during the holidays. About it tell the data of research of the financial marketplace “Unicom 24”, which is written by RIA “Novosti”.

It turned out that about 45% of them do not have enough funds on gifts, 40% — on new year’s table, 10% for entertainment, and planned trips during the holidays, 5% — for other needs, including buying clothes for the holiday, services in the sphere of beauty, etc.

Analysts pointed out that in the second decade of December, among the borrowers, the demand for funds for holiday spending. At this time, the peak of the loans in microfinance institutions.

“Just in December, will be issued more than 3.2 million loans totaling 33-34 billion rubles, as against 2.8 million in December 2018 in the amount of 30 to 31 billion rubles”, — experts predict. Of these loans 30-40% of Russians will take on the needs for the New year.

Representatives of the National Association of professional collection agencies warn that the loan on gifts and entertainment before the New year is a mistake. It’s an emotional loan that may lead to delay in January.
