This year the route of the international rally “Beijing – Paris” vintage cars will pass through the territory of the Altai territory twice: 12-13 and 16 June.
The rally will kick off in Beijing on 2 June. It is planned that the participants will pass on their classic cars more than 14,000 miles in 35 days on the territory of several countries, including Russia, and will finish July 7 in France. The race involved cars of the class “Vintage” year of manufacture to 1941, and “Classic” with year of manufacture before 1975. A total of 120 carriages and vintage cars from 26 countries. Russia will be represented by the crew from Novokuznetsk on the VAZ-2103.
Cars move at a certain organizers of the route, which involves the movement of not only roads, but also the passage of special stages and sports segments on dirt roads.
Thread the main route for the Altai territory is represented by two segments: check-in June 12 in Soloneshensky district of the Republic of Altai. Black anul – soloneshnoe S. – S. between novotyryshkino – S. Altai – Aya village, (overnight), then through the territory of the Republic of Altai, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions; entry on June 16 from the Novosibirsk region in Krutihinsky area, further on-site Pankrushikhinskiy, Khabarskogo, German national, Tabunskogo areas, Slavgorod, Kulunda district to the border with the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We will remind that rally “Beijing-Paris” is held every three years in memory of rally on this route in 1907. In 2013, the rally was attended by the crew of Evgeny Smirnov and Boris Lytkin of the Altai territory “the Muscovite-412”. Home they brought the Cup for third place in the subclass of vehicles with an engine volume of two liters.
