The prices of vegetables and fruits scare Ukrainians

The experts of the sector to explain current prices by problems with the crop due to cold spring.

As explained by an analyst of the Ukrainian agrarian Confederation Dmitry Dane, due to the cold spring soil harvest was late. And greenhouse vegetables have always been expensive.

Rose and other food products: meat, milk, bread. In different regions of the bread has risen by 7-28%, sausages – by 4-14%, meat – 12-32%, milk – 27 to 30%.

The only product that is significantly cheaper is buckwheat. Its price fell 1.5 times.

According to experts, the cost of vegetables is closer to the middle of the summer will decrease, but it will not be the same as last year.

“I don’t think this year cheap vegetables will provide an annual deflation, although small, 3-5 UAH/kg, the decrease will be”, – predicts the Dane.
