The President of Zimbabwe refused to resign

Robert Mugabe did not say he was leaving his post.

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe said that despite the recent events that occurred in the country the situation did not affect his position as head of state. On Sunday, November 19.

So, speaking on state television, Mugabe did not declare that he is leaving his post, but rather said that in December, will preside over the Congress of the ruling party.

According to Mugabe, he decided to make a televised address after communicating with the military, expressed concern about what will happen to the ruling party and subsequent management principles.

“The events of last week showed how shaky can be peace, law and order in the country,” he added.
While Mugabe said that the people of Zimbabwe must solve problems peacefully.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that Robert Mugabe ousted as head of the ruling party, the Zimbabwean African national Union – Patriotic front. Soon the party showed Mugabe an ultimatum.
