The Pope canonized two Portuguese children

Pope Francis, who arrived may 12, in Fatima (Portugal), announced the canonization of two children-shepherds – Fransisco and Jacinta, who in 1917 became witnesses of the apparition of our blessed Mother.

“We declare the blessed Francisco and Costa de Martha Martha saints,” said Dad.

Hundreds of thousands of Catholics, many of whom spent the night on the street to see Francis and the canonization ceremony during the mass in person.

Two children died at the age of 10 and 9 years old, three years after the apparitions of 1917, which made them the youngest saints of the Church who were not martyrs.

In addition Francisci of Jacinta and witness phenomena of mother of God was their cousin Lucia DOS Santos (1907 – 2005). At the moment the Roman Catholic Church holds her for beatification.
