The photographer showed the lives of ordinary people in North Korea. Photo

Photo Fabiana Muira.

Photographer Fabian Muir is known for its travel to Australia, where he photographed the blue burqas on the background of desert landscapes. Photo Blue Burqa in a Sunburnt Landscape (“the Blue cloak amid the sun-scorched landscape”) was a response to the attempt of the Australian authorities to ban women to cover the face..

In the last couple of years Fabian has made five trips to North Korea, having established quite confidential relations with the authorities of this closed state to penetrate deeper than other photographers.

His bright and colorful pictures are not like the gray and desolate footage of most of the Western photographers. Fabian Muir told Vice magazine about how he managed to make such impressive shots.
