People show their true emotions.

Photographer Joanna Fife (Johanna Siring) went in 2017 to a music festival in Roskilde, Denmark, and became friends with a bunch of strangers. And quite a curious way — by kissing them.

Joanne Fife just came to a potential object, and asked permission to photograph him. After that, she talked about the theme of their photo series and asked this person to allow her to kiss him. The second portrait of the photographer filmed the aftermath of an intimate moment.

Moreover, the Syringa allowed their latter-day models to dominate the process.

“Kiss excites all the nerve endings on lips — explained in an interview, the Syringa. — It gives a release of dopamine (a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction. — Approx. ed.) and the release of oxytocin. The kiss instantly relieves stress and creates a strong emotional bond between two people”.

“Someone rapidly smacking the lips, and then, laughing, bent in half, others went much further. Most interesting is that after the kiss it’s like I felt like I knew these people a little better. I think this feeling can be traced to the second portraits”.

The photographer did not limit himself in the choice of potential objects — gender, race, age and appearance didn’t matter.

In the portraits to kiss each of the strangers trying to pose and fit in with the way that they used to serve society.

In the photos after the kiss, the mask falls and are visible a sincere emotion.
