The PGO suspects officials of TIES to forgery

Two managers of the Department of suburban passenger transportation BONDS is suspected of forgery.

The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine declared suspicion to the two officials of the Railways. On Friday, November 24, reported the press service of the Ministry.

It is noted that the staff of Prosecutor’s office on 22 November 2017 raided the premises of the prison and its divisions.

According to the study the seized documents declared suspects under article about official forgery two heads of the Department of passenger transport of PJSC Ukrainian Railways regarding the illegal issuing them in 2016 without conducting proper research material-technical base and qualification certificate of Private JSC Dnepropetrovsk locomotive plant. In a document supposedly submitted false information regarding the ability of this company to perform repairs of engines of diesel trains which are used in several regions of Ukraine to ensure commuter traffic.

In turn, the Dnepropetrovsk locomotive plant, using a specific certificate, listed on the accounts of fictitious societies more than 68 million under the pretext of repair of diesel engines-trains-to-order TIES. The management of the factory was declared suspicious, according to the decision of the Board of Ukrainian railway officials dismissed from their posts.
