The Pentagon intends to start production of banned weapons

The US defense Department is planning to begin construction of missiles banned since the Cold war.

Thus the US wants to force Moscow to adhere to the agreements and not to build its missiles of prohibited class.

As writes the edition, the US is preparing the ground for the creation of missiles of a type that was forbidden during the Cold war, if Russia does not give up their own development of such weapons.

An informed source said that we are talking about a possible resumption of the Arsenal of missiles with a medium range land-based.

Because Russia is constantly violating the terms of the Treaty on the elimination of intermediate-range and shorter-range, which was signed by U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987.

According to American officials, the purpose of US actions is to again force the Kremlin to fulfill their obligations.
