In Overwatch Orisa plays the role of a tank.
After a series of teasers Blizzard Entertainment has finally revealed the next hero of Overwatch. They became Orisa — robot-defender, which owes its new life to the young inventor IFI.
Orisa — model series OR15. Power Numani hoped that robots of this line will protect the city from outside threats. However, they served for a short time: Nubani attacked the Fist of Death (or thunderbolt — official localized materials called Doomfist different) and blew the OR15.
The government was disappointed in the series and sold off the remains of the robots. But 11-year-old inventor IFI believed in OR15 and believed that Numani need a new defender, so with the support of parents bought the components, assembled the robot again, gave it a female personality, and gave the name of Orisa.
In Overwatch Orisa plays the role of a tank. It’s pretty far away fires its energy cannon, able to throw to the ground the force barrier, produces miniature graviton charge, similar to the “ults” of Dawn and is able to hide in the protective field, it reduces incoming damage and absorb effects, complicating action (for example, the shooting down to the ground from the supernatural powers of Reinhardt).
