This is the third fatality this year in the capital.
In Kiev, on Tuesday, October 31, from meningitis died year-old child. This was reported in the state foods and consumer service in Kiev.
It is reported that the child went to kindergarten in the Pechersk district. To doctors parents filed 30 Oct.
The child made a preliminary diagnosis of meningococcal disease. The same day he was hospitalized to the Kyiv city children’s clinical infectious hospital, and early in the morning of 31 October he died.
Now everyone who was in contact with a sick child, was sent for examination.
Earlier it was reported that in Lviv with two children aged 6 and 11 years was in the hospital with a diagnosis of meningitis.
