Since 28 December, 23 people were killed during anti-government demonstrations in Iran. Such data are the Turkish Anadolu news Agency, referring to official reports of the Iranian authorities and publication in the local press.
In the province of Lorestan, four people were killed in Khuzestan – two, in Hamadan – three, in Isfahan – three, in Khomeinishahr – three, in Najafabadi – one, in the city of Isfahan – six. In Isfahan province also killed by the security forces of Iran.
According to the authorities, arrested at least 500 protesters.
Unofficial sources report that the number of detainees significantly more, says Anadolu.
On 28 December, Iran launched a major eight years of anti-government protests. The authorities of the country require to overcome poverty, to release political prisoners, to end the tyranny of the police and to stop participating in the conflicts in Yemen, Syria and Iraq. Security forces used water cannons and detained dozens of activists.
