The Nokia smartphones are Xiaomi processors

The Chinese company Xiaomi, as you know, earlier this year introduced its new S1 processor Surge, which since almost nothing was heard. However, the project is not dead, but in its own smartphones this CPU Xiaomi to put not want, because very soon we will see this chip in new products from the Finnish company Nokia.

However, Nokia is only nominally – in fact, it belongs to Global holding HMD and collects their gadgets are strictly in China. The agreement between Nokia and Xiaomi is already signed, so the release of the first devices with a legendary logo on the case and inside the Surge S1 is not far off. The processor Xiaomi S1, frankly, do not represent anything interesting, because by today’s standards it is already outdated.

The fact that chip, introduced in February of 2017, built on the technology of 28 nanometers, and it is no longer relevant. The CPU contains 8 cores with a frequency from 1.4 to 2.2 GHz and a graphics card Mali T860, and its advantages include support for cameras with resolution up to 36 megapixels. This year, Nokia launched three smartphone with indexes 3, 5 and 6, plus not far off the flagship Nokia 9. I’d like to believe that the Surge in S1 it is not found, since the presence of such a silicon heart cell phone will never be able to compete even with the LG G6, not to mention the Samsung S8 and Xiaomi Mi 6.
