The Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine approved the list of athletes competing at the winter Olympic games in 2018 in Pyeongchang (South Korea).
The list of candidates for a trip to the next Olympics formed on the basis of qualification requirements. Only in Pyeongchang can go 57 athletes (biathlon – 26 people, downhill skiing – 4 ski race – 6, Nordic combined – 2, Luge – 4, skeleton 1, snowboarding – 3, jumping – 1, figure skating – 6, freestyle 3, short-track – 1).

In mid-January of next year completed license selection, and January 28, Ukraine has submitted a final bid for the Olympic games in Pyeongchang.
It is expected that South Korea will represent Ukraine at least 45 athletes. It is the delegation of this size represented the country at the winter Games in Sochi in 2014.
The next winter Olympics will be held from 9 to 25 February 2018. At the Games in Pyeongchang representatives from 90 countries will compete for 102 sets of medals in 15 sports.
