Each new version of Android gets a name — in alphabetical order and necessarily connected with some sweetness.
It was assumed that 8.0 Android will be named Oreo (after the cookie), but in the source code of this version of the operating system had discovered another name — oc-dev. It can be assumed that this reduction from Oatmeal Cookie (oatmeal raisin cookies).
