The Network has unveiled the design of the new crossover Infiniti

Sale of novelties will begin in 2018.

In the Internet posted the first spy photos of the production version of the new midsize crossover Infiniti QX50. This new product photographed during road tests in the United States.

Apparently, serial Infiniti QX50 will not be much different from its concept, shown to motorists this year during the Detroit motor show. However, some small changes in appearance will still happen.

The QX50 was the first car in the Infiniti lineup, which got innovative a 2.0 petrol engine with variable compression ratio (VC-T). Nissan developed this unit for the last several years. Its official presentation took place last fall at the Paris motor show. Nissan will initially be equipped with this engine the car’s luxury brand, Infiniti.

This engine automatically selects the optimal compression ratio, depending on the situation. It is very powerful and economical. Its capacity is about 270 BHP It is 27% more economical than other 2.0 l petrol engines.

Also note that the QX50 has advanced semi-Autonomous driver assistance system, acting as “co-pilot”. Unfortunately, while the Japanese about these technologies did not say anything specific.

Infiniti will start selling Infiniti QX50 in 2018. At first it will appear only in the US, and then offered it to the Europeans (though when it happens – not reported). His main rival will be the BMW X3.
