Opened fire the soldiers said that they had heard shots from the Americans.
The government of Jordan has published a video with the shooting at a military base in 2016, which killed three American soldiers.
The incident occurred on 4 November 2016 at the entrance to the air base al-Jafar South of the Jordanian capital of Amman.
The footage shows how a Jordanian soldier opened the gate to skip a few military vehicles. When they entered the territory of the checkpoint, he opened fire on the soldiers in the cars. The result killed three instructors of the U.S. army.
Detained 39-year-old soldier Maarik al-Tawaha said he heard the gunfire from the Americans, so he opened fire on them. But the investigation established that the USA cars were not made shots.
A military court in Jordan on 17 July found al-Tawaha guilty of murder, as well as “insulting the dignity, tarnishing the reputation of the armed forces and the violation of military orders” and sentenced to life hard labor.
