Seven banks deemed insolvent.
As of July 20, ish 18 banks banks implemented the plan on capitalization. About it became known according to results of diagnostics of the 60 largest banks held by the NBU in 2015-2016.
According to the results of diagnosis of the first 20 largest banks, the recapitalisation needed 16 financial institutions, 12 of them completed the program in full, and 2 Bank Fidobank and Khreschatyk Bank was deemed insolvent.
According to the diagnosis results of the second 20 banks capitalization needed 12 banks, among them in full already completed the recapitalization of four banks and three Bank – platinum Bank, fortune Bank and first investment Bank was deemed insolvent.
Diagnosis 20 third banks have identified the need for additional capitalization of 11 banks, of which a recapitalization program already implemented 2 of the Bank.
Two banks were recognized as insolvent – Finbank and the Bank of New.
