The NBU has defined the rules and procedure of the banking system for the holidays

In the period from 30 December 2017 to January 8, 2018, inclusive, banks must ensure uninterrupted operation of ATMs.

On Friday, December 29, the last trading day in 2017 will end at 15:00.

The national Bank of Ukraine has defined the rules of operation of the banking system of the country, and also electronic systems for the holidays. On Wednesday, November 29, the press service of the NBU.

In particular:

– 27 and 28 December 2017 the System of electronic payments of the NBU (BOT) will operate in the extended mode for two hours banking day;

– 29 Dec 2017 13:00 in the EPAs can only be carried out payments between banking institutions subordinate to the same legal entity and payments directed to the national Bank of Ukraine and bodies of State Treasury service of Ukraine. The national Bank and the bodies of State Treasury service of Ukraine can make payments to all participants of Sep. Banking day in the EPAs ends at 15:00.

As for the holidays in 2018, then:

1 and 8 January 2018, EPA, e-mail system of the NBU Depository of the national Bank, a System of “Certificates”, the System of confirmation of agreements on the interbank currency market of Ukraine the NBU, the system for the purchase and sale of credit resources in national currency on interbank credit market of Ukraine “КредИнфо2” Automated information system “Register of contracts with nonresidents 2” do not work;

– On 2 January 2018, banks will operate without clients and provide the complex of works associated with the new year. Interbank transfers of funds through BOT this day will be carried out;

– 3-5 and 9 January 2018 EPA and the banking system of Ukraine work in a regular mode.

29 December 2017 to 3 January 2018, inclusive, will operate the official rate of hryvnia to foreign currencies and banking metals set by the NBU on 28 December 2017.

In the period from 30 December 2017 to January 8, 2018, inclusive banks must ensure uninterrupted operation of ATMs, reinforcement them with cash of various denominations for customer service.
