The national team of Ukraine at Eurobasket-2017

The head coach of the national team of Ukraine on basketball Evgeny Murzin announced the names of players who will play in the final stage of the European championship.

When selecting the composition Murzin faced serious personnel problems. On the continental forum of Ukraine will perform without the naturalized foreigner, who came to the team and overseas performers – Alex Lang, Joel Bolombi and Sviatoslav mykhailiuk.

A serious blow to the prospects of the national team was injured Kirill Fesenko – the leader of the Ukrainian team in early August, injured his left knee and will be out for at least four weeks.

The national team of Ukraine for the European championship:

Defence: Denys Lukashov (no club), Alexander Linden (“Trikala”, Greece), Oleksandr Mishula (“Dnepr”), Ruslan Otverchenko (Budivelnik), Alexander Kolchenko (“Cherkassky Mavpy”).

Forwards: Maxim pustozvonov (without a club), Vyacheslav Bobrov (“Piano Zvaigzdes”, Lithuania), Vladimir Konev (“Cherkassky Mavpy”), Igor Zaitsev (“Rosa Radom”, Poland), Maxim Kornienko (“LUKOIL-the Academician”, Bulgaria).

Center: Vyacheslav Kravtsov (“Istanbul”, Turkey), Artem Pustovoy (“Obradoiro”, Spain).

For an exit in the playoffs of the European championship the national team of Ukraine in tel Aviv will compete with teams from Israel, Lithuania, Georgia, Italy and Germany. The first match “blue-yellow” will play on August 31 against the Germans.

Live matches of the Ukrainian team at Eurobasket 2017 will show the TV channel “XSPORT”.
